Article – The Best Valentine of All
Final Thoughts
Welcome
I don’t know where you
live, but here in South Carolina we are cold.
It was 13 degrees this morning with a wind
chill of 1 degree. So, many people in the
United States are recovering from ice storms
and don’t have electricity. I do hope
are readers who are experiencing summer are
enjoying it. We are all praying for spring
here. We have had lots of new CWMs join our
community. Welcome and you will find wonderful
supportive CWMs here. Thanks so much for all
of those who were willing to be interviewed.
I have enough interviews for several months
now. I really appreciate all your help. You
all never let me down.
CWM Coaching Tips
As a CWM sometimes quiet times
with God seem optional or they just don’t
get done. Yet, we desperately need time with
God. You can receive a CWM Coaching Tip emailed
to you daily to encourage you in your walk
with the Lord. For more information go to:

One of the best ways we can
encourage one another is by participating
in the CWM Blog. I have posted a question
about Valentine’s Day. To visit the

Article – The Best Valentine
of All
Probably one of the first lessons
you shared with your children is God loves
you. We as children learn John 3:16, “For
God so loved the world that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him will not perish, but have everlasting
life.” God is love. We share that often
with people who don’t believe in God.
Do you feel loved today? As a busy, CWM it
can often feel like we are doing for others
all day and rarely get much in return. I wonder
if God ever feels that way. He sent his only
Son to die for us so that we might be declared
righteous and be in God’s presence.
God requires absolute perfection and holiness
to be in his presence. As humans we could
never be perfect even on our best day. So,
God provided Jesus the perfect sacrifice and
put our sins on Jesus. Jesus paid the price
so we could actually be in the presence of
a Holy God. Now, we are counted as righteous
and holy due to Christ work, certainly by
nothing we have done.
Yet, how do we respond to the greatest love
ever shown to us? Do we thank and praise Him
for what He has done for us? You see as humans
we are often selfish and when we tell people
or think about God loving us; too often the
focus becomes on the “us” part
instead of the God part. While Christ death
on the cross was for our salvation, ultimately
Christ death was for God’s glory. I
love the verses in Philippians 2:10-11, “That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ
is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
One day even the staunchest atheist will bow
down to Jesus and confess He is Lord.
So, God loving us is really all about God
and very little about us. The best Valentine
we will ever receive is the love of God. When
we receive that Valentine our hearts should
burst forth with praise and gratitude that
God showered his love on us. We truly serve
an awesome God. Can I encourage you today
to thank God for his love for you and the
gift of his Son on the cross paying the penalty
for your sins? Valentine’s Day may have
been created by humans, but God gave the ultimate
Valentine’s gift over 2,000 years ago
and He keeps giving. May we praise Him for
his unconditional and unfailing love.
Final Thoughts
Do your children think Valentine’s
Day is for them as well? Certainly, at my
house that is the case. Chocolate for everyone.
You can never go wrong with chocolate!!
Till next time,
