Final Thoughts
Welcome
I hope you are having a wonderful
spring. We have had some warm weather and
it has been wonderful. For those of you who
are new to the CWM community every month we
interview a CWM and learn from one another.
I am always fascinated by what different jobs
CWMs hold. My prayer for all of us is to trust
God in all things.
Blog/Online Bible Study
Please check out the CWM blog
at http://christianworkingmoms.blogspot.com.
One of our CWMs suggested we post job openings
we know about for CWMs who have recently lost
their jobs. I’m trying to figure out
the best way to manage postings. I think it
is a wonderful idea. If you have any ideas
on how to organize this please let me know
or post on the blog. You can find the Online
Bible Study at http://cwmbiblestudy.blogspot.com.
Please join as CWMs support and encourage
one another.

Interview
I appreciate Linda and her taking
the time to be interviewed this month. Linda
is a 41 year old married CWM who lives in
the United States. She has a son age 12 and
a daughter age 8. Linda is a teacher’s
aide.
She shares the following joys in being a CWM:
being able to get out of the house and interact
with adults. This is a double blessing for
me because I work at a Christian school so
all of my co-workers are Christians. Don’t
get me wrong, I work because I have to but
I’m so thankful that I get to go to
a job that I love and work with some really
great Christian women.
Linda struggles with not being able to be
as involved at her children’s school
as she would like to be and of course the
daily struggle of trying to get everything
done.
Her favorite verse is: Zephaniah 3:17 The
Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious
warrior. He will exult over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice
over you with shouts of joy.
God is teaching Linda that being His child
is not hard. I waste so much time and energy
trying to figure out what He is doing in my
life. I’m always trying so hard to “do”
the right thing and I stress so much about
should I do this or should I do that. Right
now He is teaching me to rest in Him.
Linda’s offers this encouragement for
other Christian Working Moms: When we choose
to work outside the home it is because God
has put that need or desire in us. He knows
more than we do what our families need to
become all that He wants them to be. I believe
unless we are living outside of His word we
are in His will. So we working moms shouldn’t
feel guilty (as if that were possible) but
trust that whatever our circumstances may
be, we are exactly where we are supposed to
be.
Linda thanks for your words
of wisdom. I love the verse in Zephaniah.
The verse paints a wonderful picture.
Final Thoughts
Easter is coming soon and we
will celebrate our risen Savior. I have shared
with you for several years now The Resurrection
Eggs. Each egg has an item in it that helps
to tell the Easter Story. The last egg is
empty to represent the empty tomb. This is
a great tool for younger children. Even now
that my children are older they still like
the Resurrection Eggs. To find out more, click

Till next time,
