Interview
Final Thoughts
Welcome
We keep growing as a CWM community.
We have over 1500 women on the email list and over
1600 women have filled out the CWM Survey. If you
haven’t filled out the survey, you can go to
www.christianworkingmom.com
and click on survey on the home page. If you ever
want to look at a previous interview or CWM issue
you can find the issues at http://www.christianworkingmom.com/newsletters/archives.htm.
I want you all to know what precious sisters in Christ
you are and how much God loves and cares about everything
going on in your life.
Blog/Online Bible Study
You can visit the CWM blog at http://christianworkingmoms.blogspot.com.
You can post questions there for other CWM’s.
A recent post is about children’s birthdays.

Interview
I appreciate Shelley being willing to
be interviewed this month. Shelley is a 43 year old
CWM who lives in the US. She has been happily married
for 22 years and has four daughters, ages 19, 17,
11, and 8. Shelley is a part-time secretary for her
husband who sells industrial meters and controls.
Shelley shares the following joys of
being a CWM: I am learning some valuable lessons from
God: being more tolerant and less judgmental of other
working moms, keeping my priorities in line with God’s
priorities, and learning what is really important
to God. I thank God for my very flexible job (and
very flexible boss?). I am able to help my husband
meet our very humble budget – teamwork! I am
also “learning to be content in every situation”!
Shelley says it is hard to: “Learn
to be content in every situation”. Also, she
is learning to balance family and church obligations
with my job. She often feels guilty!!
Shelley’s favorite Bible Verse
is: “Let no unwholesome talk come out of your
mouths, but only what is helpful for building others
up according to their needs, that it may benefit those
who listen.” Eph. 4:29
God is teaching Shelley: Faith. He will
take care of us, no matter what. We can depend on
Him.
Shelley would like to encourage you
to be patient with others, but especially yourself!
God doesn’t expect us to be perfect.
Final Thoughts
Shelley thanks for reminding us of your
favorite Bible verse. I think our world continues
to become more mean and cruel. If we build others
up we will certainly be seen as different and hopefully
draw others to Christ. We all do need to be patient
with ourselves; we are still a work in progress. God
is perfecting us daily and making us more like him.
Till next time,
